You may have noticed two new faces around Lucid Systems this month. We want to welcome and introduce you to Chris Warren, who joins us as a 2nd Line Support Engineer, and James Macbeath, who has started his Level 3 IT apprenticeship with us.
Chris has a strong technical background with experience working across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Active Directory. Having previously worked in a similar role, Chris will be a core part of our IT helpdesk team, working directly with Jeremy and Jess.
James recently completed a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology at Suffolk One. He is keen to start his career as an IT engineer, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team, where he can gain practical experience while also completing his theoretical studies. James is working towards a Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship programme, which will teach him how to work across cloud systems, resolve IT issues and achieve an industry-recognised Microsoft certification.
Our apprenticeship programme has been hugely successful, and we’re always looking to mentor young engineers who want to kickstart an exciting career in IT.

These appointments will strengthen our capacity so we can maintain our rapid response times for clients, while also allowing our senior engineers to focus on delivering account management and proactive IT consultancy services.”
