Lucid Systems founder Craig has long-held a passion for IT. Despite originally beginning his career in the finance sector, as the most technically-minded of his colleagues, the operations of the office computer system quickly fell to Craig. Finding it a more interesting challenge, Craig decided to change careers. After progressing from a 1st line support engineer to Technical Director, he launched Lucid Systems in 2009. Over the past ten years, Craig has seen an array of changes in the IT sector and he says that one of his favourite parts of his job is reacting to the continual changes caused by the fast-paced nature of IT and computers. He welcomes the fact that small businesses now have the capabilities to invest in corporate computer systems that were previously only available to large corporates. For businesses in regions like Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex having access to comprehensive IT systems are vital to encourage economic growth and maintain the prosperity of our local regions.
