Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a light buffet lunch and networking before participating in a Q&A discussion. This is your safe space to ask any pressing questions about cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to our expert engineers.

We know that you’ve got lots of concerns and worries about how safe and secure your system is. That’s why we’ve invited two fantastic guest speakers who will be sharing their knowledge and best practice advice with you.

Andrew Stanton, Managing Director, Cyber Trust, will discuss privileged access, phishing resilience, AI governance risks, and readiness for next-generation digital threats.

Ben Proudlove, Partner Development Manager – Modern Microsoft Workplace at Ingram Micro, will talk about how your businesses can maximise the benefits of artificial intelligence through safe tools such as MS Copilot.

But even more exciting than that, all attendees on the day will be invited to book in for a free network health check and security audit with Lucid Systems (worth a whopping £1,000!).

This will allow you to identify how safe and secure your current IT systems are, and whether you would be prepared if you were to be impacted by a data breach or cyberattack.

With that in mind, can you afford not to come?

Why you should attend our coffee and questions cybersecurity event

As Ipswich’s leading IT support company, you might be surprised to learn that our work is less about solving IT issues and more about implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and integrating AI tools and software into systems.

We’ve all heard the horror stories of businesses that’ve been badly affected by cyberattacks – and the last thing we want is for that to happen to you. But if you’ve followed any of our blog articles, you’ll know that too often, businesses in Ipswich are failing to adequately protect themselves online.

It’s time to change the way we think about cybersecurity.

CYBER SECURITY

Karl Wilkinson

Technical Director

Our cybersecurity expert, Karl Wilkinson, says,

“You can’t keep putting it at the bottom of the to-do list. Nor can you sit back and hope that it doesn’t affect you.

Instead, you need to start assuming that a cyberattack will happen, and potentially sooner than you may think. Assuming that it will happen, rather than it won’t, is the only way to prioritise cybersecurity defences – and the more layers you have in place, the better prepared you will be to protect your data, your business and your customers.”

Why are we educating Ipswich businesses about the role of cybersecurity and AI?

We understand that discussions about cybersecurity and artificial intelligence might feel overwhelming. We’re constantly being asked questions from local businesses who are unsure if their defences are strong enough or nervous about making a business case for further IT investment.

But just think how great you’ll feel logging off on a Friday night, knowing that you won’t have to deal with the fallout of a cyberattack over the weekend. Or how you won’t have that feeling of dread when your senior team asks you for a real-time report on the impact of your cybersecurity spend.

During our coffee and questions cybersecurity event, we’re going to give you all the tools that you need to make great decisions for your business.

You’ll walk away understanding why proactive cybersecurity is ALWAYS better than reactive (and let’s face it, considering M&S are facing a £300m loss as a result of their cyberattack, it’s pretty clear that now is the time to prepare, protect and prevent.)

This is your opportunity to:

  • Learn how you can set up real-time breach detection

  • Hear about the latest AI integrations and common tools – could they be inadvertently harming your business?

  • Check if you have a unified visibility of your entire cybersecurity structure.

  • Find out how resilient your cybersecurity is compared to your peers

  • Discover what security KPIs you can use to showcase the effectiveness of any cybersecurity investment.

With straightforward, easy-to-understand, practical advice and guidance, you’ll know exactly what you need to do to strengthen your IT system, protect yourself against common cybersecurity threats, and how to successfully combine security safeguards with any AI integration.
