The Role
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our office-based team. You will provide remote support via PSA and RMM tools, handle telephone-based queries, and work with clients across diverse sectors including care and legal services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality remote support and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange, SharePoint, Azure AD, and Endpoint Manager.
- Install and set up Windows 11 and mobile devices.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues, including mail flow and client configuration.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of work completed.
- Ensure cyber security best practices are followed.
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
- Experience with Windows installations and software configuration.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Event Viewer and Command Prompt.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take ownership of issues.
Desirable Skills
- Networking fundamentals (topologies, DNS, DHCP, subnetting).
- Experience with Windows Server roles (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS).
- Knowledge of backup solutions, IP telephony, and managed Wi-Fi.
Progression & Certifications
