Lucid Systems is very much business as usual with the exception of non-essential site visits, we are here to respond to client support requests to enable home working.

Company History

Lucid Systems was created by Craig Debenham in 2009.  Craig wanted to draw on his twelve years' experience in providing IT solutions to SMEs and develop a company where providing the best possible support service was prioritised over the selling of equipment.  Craig was soon joined by David Poole who shared Craig's drive to do things better.  The company quickly grew along with its reputation for good service.  Over the years former colleagues of both Craig and David joined their team.  Hiren Chauhan became the London based engineer to serve city-based clients and Simon Ash heads the help desk services.  Jamie Pope and Ben Corden joined the company in 2014 and brought a wealth of experience to the team.  To ensure proper service levels we have recently we have added Jess Corley and Chris Barrett-Parrott to the Help Desk Team.  

Lucid Systems have seen year on year growth in both financial and employment terms.  This has been attributed to the new products that Lucid Systems has developed to meet our client’s demands.  Our Protected Online Backup service was developed by us in 2010 to offer a real secure alternative to conventional disk or tape data backup methods previously used.  This product was developed further in 2015 to include scheduled disaster recovery drills enabling our clients to completely outsource their DR IT policy to Lucid, and focus on growing their business.  We have also developed our other connectivity and cloud services hosted in our datacentres in Ipswich and Martlesham, these include Leased line/broadband services (2011) Hosted Exchange Email Services (2013) Hosted Desktop Environments (2013) and Voice over IP “VOIP” telephone services (2015).  These new products and services have enabled us to provide a complete service to our customers.
