Providing effective remote IT support to our clients
Posted 19 Jun 2020
Over the last few months, the Lucid Systems team have been
working from home as we complied with the guidance from the UK government to
remain home. Whilst working remotely has been a challenge, its one that we are
delighted to say we have risen to. We’d like to take this opportunity to say congratulations
to every member of the Lucid Systems team for their tireless efforts in
ensuring that our clients remained fully supported.
We know that each client has had individual needs and our
team has been able to react to each request promptly, whilst maintaining the high
levels of customer care that we are known for. Our biggest achievement was
ensuring that all of our clients were able to work from home within just a few days.
This is a success that we are hugely proud of.
This achievement is due to our careful planning
considerations when designing IT systems for our clients. We always think about
future proofing and ensuring that businesses have the capability to grow and
adapt to new challenges. Thanks to the communications and infrastructure which
was already in place, we were able to respond quickly to the task at hand and
implement swift remote access solutions.
Managing Director Craig Debenham says:
“The last few months have certainly been challenging
for both our team and our clients. We’re delighted to have been able to work
closely with our clients to support their remote working facilities. It’s a
phenomenal achievement to have been able to get everyone set up so quickly, and
I’m incredibly proud of the way that the team responded.
I believe that this pandemic will have changed the way
that companies view their IT systems. We will start to see companies take a
long-term, strategic look at their technical capabilities, rather than focusing
solely on the here and now. We already advocate for this future-proofing aspect
of IT installations. We will continue to work closely with clients to ensure
that they are always best-placed to respond to any unexpected situation.”
