Now celebrating our tenth anniversary, Lucid Systems was set up by Managing Director Craig Debenham in 2009. Craig has always been passionate about providing IT solutions to small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) where the best possible support service was prioritised over selling equipment.

Located in Ipswich, Suffolk our team are united in our commitment to supporting our clients through exceptional customer service and technical expertise. We specialise in providing business IT support to companies across Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Greater London; whether you have five users or 100 users, we promise to offer you the same first class service that you deserve.

We have a core team of Microsoft Certified Engineers and every single person has an important role to play in our continued success. Each IT technician has their own specialities and it is this collaborative approach which allows us to understand how to get the best out of a ‘typical’ small business computer system.

Collectively, our IT technicians can design and implement innovative solutions for a wide range of corporate IT needs. With a proven track record, we work with our clients to ensure that they understand the full details of any recommendation, including it's strengths and weaknesses.

Craig Debenham

Managing Director, MCSE, CCNA

Craig is the owner and Managing Director of Lucid Systems.  Craig’s background is as an IT Systems Engineer specialising in Exchange Server systems and IP networks. He has over 21 years’ experience designing and delivering IT solutions to SMEs. As well as the day-to-day running of the business Craig provides valuable business analyst services to clients ensuring they are getting the best return on their IT investments.

David Poole

Technical Manager, MCP

David is the Technical Manager at Lucid Systems, he has 14 years’ experience in the industry.  David provides 3rd  line support to the engineers as well as being an architect on larger projects . David works closely with Craig in providing IT solutions that not only meet the clients business requirements but are also technically stable and scale-able.

Karl Wilkinson

Senior Consultant, MCP
Karl is our senior consultant with over 20 years experience in providing solutions to SMEs.  As well as providing 3rd line support to our clients he also provides pre-sales consultancy helping our clients choose the best solutions for their business needs.

Nicola Dorriety

Accounts Manager

Nicola has over 17 years experience in running accounts systems within the IT and telecoms sector. Nicola looks after all our back office operations.

Senior Engineer, MCP, MCSA, MCSE

Hiren has over 17 years’ experience in providing 2nd and 3rd line support to SMEs. Hiren is based in London in order to offer quick onsite response to our city clients. He has extensive knowledge of both Exchange Server, Office 365 and SharePoint technologies. 

Dale Heuer

Senior Engineer

Dale is a Senior Engineer has over 16 years’ experience in providing Consultancy and 1st, 2nd, 3rd line support to SMEs.  As well as providing 2nd line support he also provides account management services to our client base.  

Jamie Pope

Helpdesk Manager

Jamie has 9 years’ experience in providing 1st and 2nd line support to SMEs.  Jamie has completed his certifications in implementing cloud based email solutions such as Office 365.  He was recently promoted to Helpdesk Manager.  

Chris Barrett-Parrott

Engineer, MCP

Chris provides 1st and 2nd line support.  He has 13 years experience in this role.  Chris is a data integration specialist.

Jess Corley

Support Engineer

After completing his NVQ Level 2 /3 ICT apprenticeship with us.  Jess has progressed to the position of support engineer.  Jess specialises in implementing and supporting or Lucid Voice Telephone system products.

Sam has recently completed his ICT apprenticeship with us and has progressed to a junior engineer role, offering 1st line support.  

Jeremy Dearing

Jeremy joined the Lucid Systems team in 2018 as a 1st line support engineer, and he takes responsibility for our ticket system
